Using "Activity Report - Mission" Form
(ANSC-7030)

Page last updated:
30 APR 2006

Coding mission hours for aid verification missions:

  • Aid Verifiers who are crew or coxswain qualified should use code 01A for missions on operational facilities.
  • Crew-qualified Auxiliarists who are not Aid Verifier qualified may use code 03 for chart update patrols.

Note: For the new AUXDATA system, only mission hours will be recorded on the Activity Report - Mission form (ANSC-7030). Travel time and "Prep" time will be recorded on the Member Activity Log form (ANSC-7029).

Coding mission hours for other Federal or State Agency support:

  • Active support of Federal and State Agencies is encouraged. This includes support such as aids to navigation and other activities NOT related to law enforcement. Per the Director of Auxiliary, 8WR, it is permissible for agency (for example, Army Corps of Engineers) personnel to be transported on Auxiliary facilities and to determine safe water and set buoys as long as you have a certified Coxswain and Crewman aboard. It is NOT acceptable for Auxiliarists to do this mission without responsible agency personnel on board. You may assist these agencies by providing an appropriate platform and trained crew, however, you may not accomplish  their mission for them.
  • On the ANSC-7030 form, Activity Report - Mission, mission hours should be recorded under "Agency Support Missions" using Codes 41 (Federal agencies) or 42 (state agencies).
