How do I become an
Aid Verifier? Follow these steps:
-
Receive training
and pass the Aid Verifier Qualification open book examination with
a passing score of 90 percent or better;
-
Complete both
Incident Command System (ICS) 100 & 700 courses,
-
Complete TCT
(Team Coordination Training); and,
-
Attend the
Operations Workshop when it is required for all Operations members.

National ATON Website
The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary National Department of Operations
has published an
ATON website
whose goal is to make the site a one stop source for members who may want
information about the National Aids to Navigation program. It also
has links to unique programs for Auxiliarists like the National "C"
school, cooperative Chart Updating program (CU and SCF) with NOAA and the
newly revitalized Bridge Administration Program (BAP). A link to the
website has been added to the Navigation Bar on the left side of this

CG Sector implementations resulting in District realignments, area 03-H
(Upper Mississippi, Chester, IL (mile 109.5) to Mile 0.0 is no longer the
responsibility of District 8WR. Therefore, it has been removed from
